A gentle introduction to the water for babies and their grown-up.

Through songs, play and sensory activities, you'll help your baby develop confidence, water familiarity and early swimming skills while enjoying precious one-to-one time together.

What to bring

You'll need swimwear and a towel for both you and your baby. Babies who are not fully toilet trained must wear a double-nappy system consisting of a swim nappy underneath a snug-fitting neoprene over-nappy.

You don't need to bring swimming equipment or toys – we'll provide everything needed for the lesson.

Booking

Lessons are £15 per class and are booked by term. Payment is made in advance for the full block of lessons. If spaces are available, families joining after the start of the term will only pay for the remaining lessons on a pro-rata basis.

After booking, you’ll receive a link to complete a separate swimmer registration form. Please complete one form for each child before their first lesson.

Existing families will be given priority to renew their place before any remaining spaces are released for new bookings.

For curious little explorers who love to move!

These fun, play-based classes build confidence, independence and water safety through games, songs and gentle challenges. Your child will develop important swimming foundations such as kicking, reaching, floating, travelling through the water and safe entries and exits, while you support them every step of the way.

Activities are adapted to each child's confidence and stage of development, allowing them to progress at their own pace.

Helping preschoolers become confident, capable swimmers.

These classes are designed for beginners and early swimmers who are not yet confidently swimming independently. Using games, adventure and carefully planned activities, children develop skills including floating, kicking, propulsion, safe entries and exits, and travelling through the water with increasing independence.

Every child starts from a different place. Some preschoolers may already feel comfortable in the water and be ready to develop their swimming, while others may be taking their first lessons or still building confidence with experiences such as getting their face or ears wet. Activities are adapted to each child’s confidence and ability so they can progress at their own pace.
